Brea’s Booth with Folk Inspiration on Brooklands Radio

One of the upsides of doing what we do at Folk Inspiration is having the opportunity to meet wonderful people who have an unquenchable passion for live music. Brea Gosling is certainly someone who has put her life and soul into championing the best in live music, from promoting gigs in the 60s for iconic bands including The Rolling Stones and The Who, to producing her highly-engaging radio interview shows today, featuring a fascinating array of guests who she describes as the music industry’s ‘movers and shakers’.
We had to suppress our sense of imposter syndrome when Brea invited us to join her for a lovely two hour chat about the musicians who inspired us. On stepping into the Brooklands Radio studios in Weybridge, we found an immediate connection when we learned that Brea’s son, Jake, was the producer for one of my favourite indie bands, The Libertines.
It was an absolute joy to chat with Brea and we loved the ‘Desert Island Discs’ format without the jeopardy of the waves washing away our treasured record collection! We hope you will give it a listen.
