My name is Natalia. I'm 44. We evacuated on the third day of the war. Our city, Kyiv, was half-occupied. My husband understood that this war would last for years and drove my son and me to the Western border. When the possibility of sheltering in the UK appeared, there was no hesitation. My husband had been to England before and was impressed by the people and the country.
Soon, it will be the second anniversary of our stay in the UK. We thank the English for their understanding and support, opportunities for study and work, and the ability to fully live and develop. We are surrounded by kind and helpful people.
Your leaders and your King thoroughly support our warring country. Caring for refugees, Britain provides invaluable financial and military assistance.
Ukraine will win; we will return home, and England will always be in our hearts. Thank you!
